Who is the GK3 Ultra designed for?
The GK3 Ultra is designed for creators, studios, and production users who need more build space for large models or higher output per batch. Its 300 × 160 × 300 mm build volume makes it a strong fit for large statues, props, prototypes, and plates containing many smaller parts. If most of your work consists of smaller high-detail parts or transparent applications, compare the GK3 Pro before choosing.
How large is the GK3 Ultra build volume?
The maximum print volume is 300 × 160 × 300 mm. This gives you room to print larger parts with fewer cuts or arrange more parts on one build plate.Actual usable capacity depends on model orientation, supports, drainage, and the clearance required around each part.
Is the GK3 Ultra better for one large model or batch production?
It can support both workflows. Large-format creators can reduce the number of sections required for statues and props, while studios can use the larger plate to produce more parts in one batch.For production planning, compare total successful parts per batch, resin use, cleaning time, and post-processing labor—not only the stated print speed.
How do the heating and automatic resin feeding systems work?
The GK3 Ultra can heat the resin to a selected 25°C or 30°C setting to support more consistent resin flow in cooler environments. Its automatic feeding system is designed to maintain resin availability during longer or higher-volume prints.Before the first production print, confirm that the resin cartridge is installed correctly, calibrate the feeding system, and run a short functional test. Never fill the vat beyond its indicated maximum level.
Can I still print if I do not use automatic resin feeding?
Yes. Resin can be added manually as long as you follow the vat capacity and safety guidance in the user manual. Automatic feeding is a workflow feature; it is not required for the printer to expose and complete a print.If the feeding system does not detect or dispense resin correctly, stop and check the cartridge installation and sensor reading before beginning a long print. Contact technical support if the displayed weight or feeding status remains abnormal.
Does the GK3 Ultra require manual leveling?
The printer is factory calibrated, but the build plate should still be checked after delivery, relocation, maintenance, or a failed first-layer test. Complete the official leveling check before committing a full vat of resin to a large print.If adhesion differs across the plate, do not compensate only by increasing exposure. Recheck the plate, vat installation, release film, leveling result, and test-piece thickness first.
What should I do if I see repeating layer lines in a cold environment?
First confirm that the printer is using the correct, current firmware and that the resin temperature is stable. UniFormation has published a specific service procedure for heater-related layer patterns on certain earlier GK3 Ultra units.Check the production label on your machine and follow the official GK3 Ultra guide rather than applying an older modification to every unit. Contact support if you are unsure which procedure applies to your serial number.
Which slicers and file-transfer methods can I use?
The GK3 Ultra supports UniFormation Slicer, CHITUBOX, and Lychee Slicer. Print files can be transferred by USB, Wi-Fi file sharing, or Ethernet.Software and network features can depend on firmware version and local network configuration. Keep USB available as a direct transfer option, and verify current compatibility in the Support Center before relying on a remote workflow.

Which washing and curing setup should I choose?
Choose post-processing equipment according to the largest part you expect to print, not only the average model. Cure3 Ultra is designed for the larger GK3 Ultra workflow, but washing requirements should also consider part geometry, resin type, solvent volume, and local safety practices.If you already own post-processing equipment, check its internal dimensions before selecting a printer-only configuration.

A real workhorse! Practical, easy to use, extremely simple to clean, and ULTRA QUIET! The side draining tray is just awesome! The integrated light is truly super useful, and the auto-fill system is very fast. The heated tray ensures a smooth resin flow regardless of the room temperature. Had so issues, with my products on arrival but it was all due to shipping. Uniformation was on it right away and immediately when to work to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Without a doubt, I will be buying more of their products due to their professionalism. UniFormation lived up to the hype and they will be the only resin printer that we use for our business here on out. The GK3 ultra is what they promised, don’t follow the bad reviews do your research and see for yourself. Its a winner in our book
The print quality is great and fairly easy to use. It would be great if we get a "plug and play" style for sharing files and/or prints. The way the vat locks is great to use and the buildplate holder to the side is also nice to use, so that the resin can drip in the vat. I have a good experience so far and if I need more printers I might buy a second one.

It's a great machine, I was easily able to adapt it to my work flow. The prints come out beautifully.
This is GK3 Ultras #7 and #8 for our print shop. We run these constantly and they are workhorses. We have dialed down our speed a bit for our ABS resin, and the machines are rock solid now with the right dial-in for our specific needs. The machine is easy to operate, the post-processing (e.g. plate hanger, easy lever-down to install build plate, etc) is well thought out. The form factor and swivel lid is also very welcome for a compact / shop rack setup. The USB port and controls are all on the front. The Ethernet port is a great boon for a print shop - so we keep devices off the WiFi. The print quality is fantastic. Just stellar for such a big build plate. If you want to print minis or resin items that are butter smooth - this is your printer. It is worth the competitive price in our opinion. Last and very important point for us - we had technical issues and Uniformation stood by their product and corrected it for us. Their support has been stellar, and this alone is one of the reasons we'll stay brand loyal to Uniformation. You won't regret it, this machine is excellent.

So far I have no complaints about this beast of a machine! Once I got my settings dialed in, it has been cranking out some BEASTLY prints. I mainly print large scale statues, and the huge build volume has been a game changer for bigger projects. The detail and overall print quality have been excellent. My only real complaint is the print time estimation, it gets pretty unreliable near the end of a print. Other than that, the GK3 Ultra has quickly become my go-to for all my projects.
The GK3 Ultra and the cure 3 Ultra are really top, the ergonomics and the quality of the prints is just exceptional for a machine of this size. despite the large prints the support marks are minimal. do not hesitate it is really worth it!

I own a Uniformation GK2 which has been a workhorse since I brought it. I needed a bigger print volume and dependable printer. So it was a no brainer to buy the GK3 Ultra. Once I dialed in the ABS resin it’s been printing flawlessly. I would highly recommend Uniformation printers to friends and family.
Printer is working great
This is my first resin printer. I had heard the GK3 Ultra was a great easy to use and easy to set up printer. I had been a little hesitant to get a resin printer because I thought they were a hassle to use. It ended up not being that complicated. The prints that come out of it are just fantastic. I am using it in a professional setting and sometimes you just need to print using a resin printer vs Filament printer.
This is my upgrade from GK2 in plate size and it didnt disappoint me. LEDs are great for seeing inside while it works. Actually had both running at the same time on same project and it finished faster.

This printer will not auto fill. I looked at the sensor and the metal rod was just laying there…so arrived broken.
Great product all around. You cant go wrong with this printer. Super easy to set up. Super easy to use. First print starting within the first hour.
I like the printer but think there should be more detailed videos of operating the machine. Also to hang the build plate for collecting the resin, either I don't understand or am missing the hanger as there is not enough extension on the part on the printer to hang it.
This is my first resin printer and I've been looking really hard into the one I think would be best for me to start and ultimately decided on the gk3 ultra. So far it's been a pretty great experience. I can't say I've had any real issues other than the automatic resin feeder is a bit finicky and I can't really get it to work. I've calibrated it several times taking the bottle in and out of the feeder and it will just forever load but never actually dispense the resin into the vat. So now I just pour the resin in manually which is also faster by the way, and other than that, I can't say I have any real issues with the machine operating just besides the automatic resin dispenser. I think since my time owning the printer I've been able to use the automatic feeder, maybe two or three times and I've had my printer for almost a month now.

Never used a resin printer before and decided to purchase the GK3 Ultra despite some of the negative feedback that people may have heard, so safe to say im a total newbie. This is our next 3x GK3Us for our print shop. They are a treat to work with. The built in heater, resin feeder bottle are all great features. The quality is great, and the printer is solid. There is one thing to call out for every prospective buyer - as of 2025/3 you will need to dial in your exposure, lift and speed settings to get consistent prints - especially for fine and small parts (we print wargame minis (30mm scale). The Uniformation Facebook group is very helpful for this purpose. And one last small annoyance - the build plate cannot stand on it's own. So when you are busy processing the plate, you'll need a stand or something rigged up to hold the plate for you. Small issue, and not worth dinging any points. We use it all day, every day now, and it is a great addition to our fleet of printers. We'll likely be adding more.
Hi there! GK3 Printer in usage for almost 1 months, works really well, just slice and print, no issues, exept refilment system, its dosn't work at all. We search some info on forums, in FB groups, but didn't find any solutions. Looks like pump dosn't work. Video in attachments. Any ideas how to fix that? Thank you.

Despite all of the negativity, so far mine has worked perfectly. The dual rail, or lack thereof, situation causes concerns. Also, the constant delays were an issue with minimal information unless I specifically reached out. Overall I love it, and hope to have no issues moving forward. The machine prints amazingly.

The printer is awesome and the support team is the best I've even encountered for a product. They seem to have fixed most of the issue with the early models and my first print came out flawless at the max size!
Even though I had to wait little longer for the delivery of this printer, Wash 3 Ultra and Cure machine, I am happy with it! Excellent print quality and definition. Having whole set for washing and curing makes the whole experience even better!

The printer worked straight out of the box. I am new to 3d printing so to be able to just pour in the resin, load a file and print has been a godsend. Any problems have been on me as the printer has been flawless.
Awesome printer! I first started dabbling in resin printers about a year ago, but this has opened so many possibilities I can hardly comprehend! The large build volume, high LCD resolution and auto resin feeder are game changers! Couldn’t recommend this printer enough!
